Train Travel

Amtrak and New Jersey Transit operate trains along the Northeast Corridor rail line that stop at Princeton Junction. Travelers can then transfer to a single-car train operated by New Jersey Transit, known as the "Dinky," for a five-minute ride directly to the University. When buying your train ticket, purchase a trip to Princeton instead of Princeton Junction if you wish to take the five-minute shuttle. The Dinky Station is located on University Place at the southern end of campus. Please see the campus map below for directions to the McCormick Hall, our conference venue.

From New York: Take the N.J. Transit train on the Northeast Corridor line from N.Y. Penn Station to Princeton. From Philadelphia: Take the SEPTA (Southeastern Philadelphia Transportation Authority) from Philadelphia to Trenton Station and switch to the N.J. Transit train to Princeton.

Please pay close attention to scheduled departures, available via the Amtrak site. Note that on the morning of the 12th, there are only two shuttles between Princeton Junction and Princeton Station that would arrive in time for the conference, departing at 9:05am and 9:35am.

Important Note Regarding the "Dinky"
Due to ongoing construction for a new Arts and Transit neighborhood, the Dinky (Princeton Station) has been temporarily relocated to a location farther south. This new location is about a 15 minute walking distance from the venue. Volunteers will be stationed to help guide you to the conference.

Air Travel

The closest and most conveniently accessed international airport is Newark Liberty International. From Newark Liberty International Airport, take N.J. Transit's Northeast Corridor line southbound to Princeton Junction (see Train Travel).
